2018 Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot
These Merlot grapes were grown on a small hillside vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where the perfect combination of sun exposure & ocean influence creates a long growing season.
The fruit ripens slowly, showing an excellent balance of acid and sugar and making it a wine rich in flavor and deep in color. We hope that you enjoy this, our eight vintage of Big Dog Vineyards, Merlot, handmade in small batches and aged in American oak for twenty-four months.
