2023 - Grenache - Zula Mae

The meticulously-farmed Zula Mae Vineyard is tucked away in the Amador hills and has ideal conditions for ripening our Grenache. We are thrilled to present our first vintage from this incredible vineyard. The grapes were harvested by hand, then crushed & fermented in small batches before spending 18 months in a French oak barrel. As usual, production was small, with intensely aromatic, spicy berries and very low yields. As with all our reds, it is never filtered, so some sediment is normal.
