2019 - Cabernet Franc - Estate

Now over 25 years old, the award-winning Big Dog Estate Vineyard is situated on a peak in the Milpitas Hills overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Rocky hilltop soils and the bay-influenced breezes provide ideal ripening conditions, allowing our wines to develop a character unique to this site. 

 

 

Harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness and aged in a French oak barrique, this wine captures all the power, nuance, and elegance this vineyard can provide. As with all our reds, it is never filtered, so some sediment is normal.
