2018 Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir Reserve
After a cool, partial whole-bunch fermentation, this wine was aged in tight-grained French oak for just over a year. This is the first time we have gotten grapes from this particular section of the vineyard, and, we have to say, we're thrilled with the result! The Reserve displays a darker fruit profile and longer aging potential, compared to our classic.
We always love this wine with Thanksgiving food! It is a sublime pairing for turkey, pumpkin, cranberry sauce, you name it! But you don't have to wait until November to enjoy it; try it with your favorite roast poultry recipe, or next time you're grilling portabellos.
