These Merlot grapes were grown on a small hillside vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where the perfect combination of sun exposure & ocean influence creates a long growing season.
The fruit ripens slowly, showing an excellent balance of acid & sugar, making a wine rich in flavor & deep in color. We hope that you enjoy this, our 8th vintage of Big Dog Vineyards Merlot, handmade in small batches & barrel aged for 24 months.
